Contributions

I worked collaboratively with another designer to redesign the website. Drawing inspiration from the original version, we made UX improvements, while introducing numerous additional screens. Our primary goal was to improve both the visual appeal and functionality, creating a more engaging and user-friendly experience.

Heuristic Evaluation

As UX designers, we started by conducting a heuristic evaluation of the entire website to identify areas for improvement. Through this process, we discovered inconsistencies in spacing and headings, which impacted the overall visual harmony and readability. Additionally, we noted that accessing the homepage required clicking on the logo—an unintuitive navigation pattern that could confuse users. We wanted to ensure that the design aligned with both usability and the organization’s needs.

Wireframing

After consulting with stakeholders, we defined the user flow and identified the necessary screens for the project. I proceeded with creating the wireframes to get the experience in more detail on a screen-by-screen level.

Elevating to High-Fidelity

Once we completed refining our wireframes, we transitioned to creating the high-fidelity prototype. During this phase, we met with stakeholders several times to discuss content updates and identify additional screens to include. We brought the wireframes to life by incorporating intuitive navigation and finalizing the user interface, ensuring the design was both functional and visually engaging.

We are currently in the process of implementing our designs on a new platform and look forward to sharing more soon!
